simd detector: user interface poor

Feb 25, 2010 at 6:04 PM
The use of "red" and "green" bullets is particularly poor because red/green color blindness is a serious issue for many. I have family members who would see these as shades of gray. Using a red x and a green checkmark would be a better choice, because even a color-blind person can recognize the difference between an x and a check mark.

Hi jmnewcomer,

Thank you for your sensible advice! I'll change them as soon as possible.

Hi jmnewcomer,

I have changed the red/green buttons to ticks and crosses and I have also added a C# winform application similar to the MFC one. I have added the Intel AES detection to the library. Thanks for your suggestion! :)
